Handmade Cheesecake

Yesterday, I visited my father's house.

He is living with my brother.

Since my father is getting older, my brother usually cooks for both of them.

When he tries a new recipe, he often watches videos by popular Japanese YouTubers.

This is the handmade cheesecake he made using one of those YouTube recipes.

When you buy cheesecake in Japan, most of them are relatively soft.
However, the one my brother made was dense, rich, and absolutely delicious.

An American friend of mine once told me that she had the most delicious cake in the world in Japan.

I’m not sure whether Japan is the best place in the world to eat cake or not, but you can easily find very good cakes in Japan — even at local supermarkets.

Origami Cranes for Health and Peace
