The Japanese flag, the Hinomaru

The other day, I had the opportunity to raise a large Japanese flag.

Of course, I have seen the Japanese flag many times in my life, but it was my first time actually handling such a large one.

As I raised it, I felt a surprisingly sacred feeling.

I found myself thinking about the many people who carried this flag through difficult times, and those who even gave their lives under it.

It may sound strange to praise my own country's flag, but I couldn't help thinking:

"Is there any design more simple and more beautiful than this?"

The red circle of the Hinomaru represents the sun.

Interestingly, the logo of Japan Trading also uses the Hinomaru design.

After this experience, I felt a renewed sense of responsibility and respect for the work I do.
