However, approval is not guaranteed. Each application is reviewed individually.

▶ Payment for Machinery Over 2 Million Yen ⭕️ & ❌

Now, here is the important point for our transaction.

We asked whether foreign currency cash could be exchanged into Japanese yen to pay for machinery that will be exported from Japan.

The answer was yes, but only if the required export documents are available. Documents such as proof of export authorization and a packing list may be required.

In our case, however, the payment would be a deposit or advance payment for the machinery. At this stage, the required export documents are not yet available.

Therefore, we cannot use World Currency Shop to exchange the foreign currency cash into Japanese yen for this particular transaction.
